Now that I am finally healing up and can walk around like a normal person with a club foot (since I still don't have all feeling back in my foot), I want to go outside. But Rexburg is still having cold weather. At least it's only raining.
With the bum weather, it reminded me of winter and all the things we did to entertain ourselves. We went ice fishing, which I thought seemed all cool and adventurous but really was the laziest fishing trip I've ever had. Since the holes but in the ice are so small, you practically sit on top of them and you don't have to worry about falling in or your kids falling in. We ended up just sitting on our fishing pails all day and beings bums. And no, we didn't catch any fish. I don't think with all the times Ben and I have gone fishing (which has been quite a few) that we've ever caught any fish. We stink like that.

Brrr....sitting around on my buttocks in the snow just doesn't sound appealing to me. I like my choice of winter activities better......

Now that's a lazy winter activity! Being lazy in the hot tub by the fire rocks!
LOL - that is so funny, I'd think the same thing about ice fishing! (being all cool and adventurous) Our lazy winter activities consist of indoor climbing gyms or ski/board resorts. But neither of those have happened for awhile... we're so glad to be back in warmer weather!
You guys took Indy ice fishing? Yeah, you guys are way cooler parents than I will ever be. In winter we usually just go to McDonalds and let the kids play on a slide that isn't wet.
